3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account access.
• Parents and guardians may create accounts on behalf of their minor children. Users under 13 may not create accounts directly (see our Privacy Policy for COPPA compliance details).
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating student profiles.

4. Scholarship Information

• Scholarship listings are provided for informational purposes only. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up-to-date, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any scholarship listing.
• Scholarship eligibility, deadlines, amounts, and requirements are set by the scholarship providers, not by ScholarshipFinder. Always verify details directly with the scholarship provider before applying.
• We are not responsible for any decisions made by scholarship providers regarding your application.

5. AI-Powered Features

Our onboarding interview uses artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to help build your student profile through conversation. While we strive for accuracy:

• AI responses are generated and may occasionally contain errors.
• You should review your student profile after the interview for accuracy.
• Scholarship matching is based on the information you provide and the eligibility criteria in our database. Matches are suggestions, not guarantees of eligibility.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Provide false or misleading information in student profiles
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure

7. Intellectual Property

The ScholarshipFinder name, logo, website design, and original content are the property of Obsidian River LLC. Scholarship listings contain information from third-party sources and remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Third-Party Links and Advertising

Our service contains links to third-party websites, including scholarship application pages, test preparation services, and advertisements served by Google AdSense. 9. Disclaimer of Warranties
